Brief
2025 provincial election with the Ontario Liberal Party. Working at the central campaign office collaborating with other policy and communication directors. Leading the graphic design, the main goal in the material was to maintain consistent branding, while ensuring visually engaging and comprehensive content.

Several of these were deployed throughout the duration of the campaign to solidify policy and to engage voters through informational posts.
Voter ID
Voter ID ads are aimed to different demographics and use interactions on the ad to gauge interest in topics and collect data on different types of voters to retarget them on similar topics to increase voter count.
GOTV Ads
GOTV ads, standing for "get out to vote" are used to bring awareness to the election and promote voting while reiterating policy choices.
Live Debate Responses

Debates during an election allowing voters to determine the strength of each leader and each party's responses to different issues. The campaign team aimed to strategically respond by targeting the efficacy of the other party through these live updates. While watching the debate, the graphics were created within minutes of their mention.

Learning Lessons

At the end of this entire election, I had learned a lot about strategic communications and working collaboratively in a fast paced, ad-hoc environment. It was a short turn around to adapt to the branding as well as learning to add elements in specific to different ads or placing elements strategically to reflect the over brand image that we desired.

Nevertheless, I couldn't have been more proud of my experience with the team and in my role. I had great mentors with me throughout the process, who have all aided in my success and I couldn't have done it without them.

Coming in as a low information voter, I've learned more about the influence that graphic design has on politics more than any other position I've held. As a designer who aims to discover the influence that design has on society this role has brought me closer to finding those answers.
