IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU
My work in brand and graphic design, is shaped by all my experience working on large projects and campaigns aimed to direct one central vision. I am currently employed with the Liberal Caucus Service Bureau, as the manager of graphic design. In my role, I help to support the rest of the communications team with visuals, videos, and motion graphics to help expand the reach of issues and ongoing legislative matters. As well, I assist with the needs of caucus to help supply graphics, produce ads, invites and other print material. I also help to overlook and create branding assets for the party while also helping to create internal assets which are used by PLAs.
With a background in Global Business and Digital Arts from the University of Waterloo, my education is the foundation of my work. Working in Adobe and Figma, designing in these spaces became second nature. My time in this program not only refined my design skills but also deepened my understanding of demographics and the importance of empathy in creative work.
I work the best in collaborative, fast paced environments, the busier I am the more integrated and immersed I am in the brand I'm working with. I go into any position or work, with a growth mentality. I love learning about new positions, new processes and how everything fits into one whole working system. I'll never say no to different opportunities and embrace chances to try new things. My experience in political environments has given me the ability to understand how to grab an audience and bring attention to new ideas through visual communication.
