THE OLD BRANDING
Their previous logo had basic colours and their site wasn't built out yet. My plans for moving forward from this version of the design was to modernize the logo, get rid of the outline, and potentially choose a new font. Using the final improved logo colours I would work on developing a brand with consistent brand imagery that would reflect their business.
NEXT STEPS
From the original website and logo, my plan was to divide my work into branding and then website. The branding would showcase options that showcase varying levels of changes to the original which would solidify their identity as a tech company. Following their choice in branding, I would work on different website layout options that fit the branding culminating in a finalized brand and website.
THE NEW BRAND GUIDE
After deliberation the new brand still payed homage to the original but improved on its visual appearance. Taking the divides of the triangle and turning them into gradients and updating the font helped to give the logo a cleaner look and added dimension. A new geometric motif was added to add to its technological feel. The photography and brand typeface were added to help solidify their overall look.
Following the completed website all of the design choices were implemented and can be found throughout the design
